Surf Spots in Piura
Piura is the great surfing destination of northern Peru, famous for its world-class lefts and its warm water all year round. Along its desert coast, legendary waves coexist, such as Cabo Blanco, known as the Peruvian Pipeline, and Lobitos, with its long, tubular lefts, alongside demanding barrel spots like Panic Point. Máncora, Órganos, El Ñuro and Vichayito complete an offering that combines waves for every level with sunny beaches, seafood cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere. The region works especially well with north swells between October and March, though it also wakes up on south swells. Being able to surf in boardshorts almost all year makes it one of the best surf getaways in the country.
