About Villa
Villa is a sandy beach break located in Chorrillos, near the Pantanos de Villa natural area, south of Lima. It usually offers peaks with lefts and rights that change quite a bit depending on the day and can get lively when more sea comes in, which gives it a varied, fun character. It works with northwest, west and southwest swells, and orders best with mid to high tide and light wind, ideally from the east. It is a wave recommended for intermediate surfers who enjoy active sandbanks and the shifting reading of the peaks. Its proximity to the Pantanos de Villa reserve adds a unique natural setting just minutes from the city. As an accessible beach break in southern Lima, it is a good option for frequent sessions. For the Lima surfer looking for versatile waves over sand in a distinctive setting, Villa is an interesting alternative on the Chorrillos coast.
