About Conchán

Conchán is located at kilometer 26.5 of the Panamericana Sur, in the district of Lurín, south of Lima. It is mainly a beach break influenced by structures and breakwaters, breaking over a sand bottom and usually offering smaller waves than the neighboring reefs. That gentle character makes it a calm, accessible option near the city, ideal both for bathers and for intermediate surfers looking for undemanding sessions. Its peaks can produce lefts and rights depending on how the sandbank is. The best season comes with south swells, between April and October. Services in the area are limited and concentrated near the access. For the south Lima surfer looking for a comfortable beach, with space and without the pressure of the more famous spots, Conchán is a practical alternative within the wide coastline of Lurín.
