About Zorritos

Zorritos is a classic beach town in Tumbes, known as the land of eternal summer for its warm climate almost all year and its relaxed atmosphere. It is mainly a beach break with gentle waves that break over a sand bottom, ideal for beginners and for enjoying quiet family beach days. Its great appeal is the water: tropical and mild, with an average close to 26 °C, which lets you get in the sea without a wetsuit in any season, something unique on the Peruvian coast. Its wide beaches, promenade and rich seafood cuisine complete the experience. The best time for waves runs from November to March, with north swells and summer. For the beginner surfer or the traveler seeking sun, warm sea and easy waves, Zorritos is a perfect stop along the Tumbes coast, with the serene charm of Peru's far north.
